Im afraid about it. It hurts a bit when i touch it. I'm 13 and i have oliy skin but i doubt its a pimple. Its in the scalp areaI have a small pimple like bump on the left side of my head in the scalp area. It hurts when I touch it...?
Put some toothpaste on it before you go to bed. You can put a small patch of Kleenex on top so it doesn't make a mess. It should dry it up in a couple of days.I have a small pimple like bump on the left side of my head in the scalp area. It hurts when I touch it...?
i have a small bump like that on my right side of my head, right above the ear..when i touch it it hurts too..i kept starting to get worried about it cause im afraid tht its a syptom of tumor=[
but im sure its a pimple Report Abuse
It could just be a regular zit or pimple that has not broke through the skin yet. Don't mess with it, and if it moves or gets bigger tell you're parents, well you should tell ask your parents what it is anyways. Report Abuse
Pimples in the scalp are like that. Hard, painful, clear pus. They don't pop well, they don't heal quickly. Small ones go away after about 3 days, but some I've had last for a week. Best thing to do is not touch it. Pimples are caused by a bacteria, and its in the bacteria's best interest to be exposed so that it can spread. Also, touching it just makes it hurt more. If you've already scratched it or broke the skin put some neosporin on it.
Also, change your pillow case. If it's on the side of your head, chances are your pillow case is infected.
Sweetie you can get pimples in your scalp.... Try putting warm compresses, almost hot but not hot enough to be uncomfortable on it to make it come to the surface. To make it hurt less and easier to come to the surface have your mom pluck the hair at the center in the follicle that the pimple will come too.
It could be a pimple or a sebaceous cyst, which is a blocked gland that normally provides the oils that occur on your scalp. They really aren't anything to worry about, but if it is painful, you might want to have it checked out if it doesn't quit hurting or gets worse. Just tell your mom about it - it's highly unlikely to be anything serious.
Stop touching it if it hurts.
Show it to the adult who you live with.
Talk it over perhaps you should see a Dr. and have it checked out. You may think it is a pimple and it may be however it could be something else a boil or infection etc.
First thing stop pushing on it. Show it to the adult who you live with.
Hey, i have the same thing but i have 2. first a samll bump, then in a few days bigger. DON'T pick/pop it off. i did that, and then it starts bleeding and you get a scab. (gross! in your hair). just leave it alone 4 awhile and it should get a lot better, but dont mess with it until its gone b/c it waill come back worse than it was.
This is probably just a scalp pimple. you can find helpful information about this here

If it continues to hurt you can see a dermatologist to resolve this problem. Not to worry about it though as it is not serious.

Put some rubbing alcohol on it. Might sting a little but it will clean it and start the healing process. After that put some corisone cream on it. Show it to your mom or dad.
If you have oily skin there is a really big possibility it is a pimple, people can also get them on their scalp
-hope i helped
Leave it alone, the more you touch it, it will eventually get worse
If it pops use water, then put alcohol or use alcohol then rinse with water
It is a pimple. I have the same thing. Wash it daily and put any acne products you have on it.
People get pimples there all the time, and they tend to be more painful there than the ones on your face. Just give it some time, it will go away.
OMG me too. I never asked anyone about it. but it does annoy me BIG time. its like under my skin thoo. I assumed it was just a bump from when i wolked into somehing ?
sounds like a pimple to me, you can get them on your scalp as well, especially if you tend to have oily hair
Bumps like that are hive-like in nature and are generally brought on by stress. Don't try to pop it. It will go away in a couple of days.
It can just be an ingrown hair. You can either pop it or leave it alone. Either way, it'll hurt like hell.
Yeah, it's a pimple. They're generally more painful around the scalp and temple. Nothing to worry about. (Best answer?)
its a pimple. you can get them from switching shampoos too often
I've had many of these. They've always gone away on their own. It wouldn't hurt to ask a doctor about it, but I doubt it's anything serious.
its posible that its pimple
its not hard to get bacne (back acne)
