Huge pimple on an old tattoo?

Hi! gross, but here it is, I have a 5+ year old large tattoo on my inner upper arm.. its really beautifully colored still, and an enormous pimple just formed on it! Is it going to scar badly? It looks like if anything touches it, its going to pop, so I don't' want to touch it obviously, just wondering if its going to damage the coloring?Huge pimple on an old tattoo?
DO NOT POP IT NO MATTER WHAT!!! If you pop it you will most likely get a scar because it will scab and has greater chance of infection. Also popping a pimple causes the bacteria to spread which will cause a more likely chance that you will get another pimple. make sure to use and antiseptic on it which will heal it properlyHuge pimple on an old tattoo?
i have tattoos and the pimple is deeper in the skin than the ink...DON'T POP IT!!!


get some witch hazel 100% natural about 2-3.00 .. its an antiseptic and use a cotton ball to rub on it 2-3 times a day ...this will help dry it out and hopefully go away before it pops.


and if it pops it could leave a scar ....so if it pops by itself buy maderma its really good to prevent scaring

It should not damage the color just don't pop it let it heal naturally and yes, Do NOT use Neosporin and petroleum jelly because they are some of the worst things to use on a tattoo.
I have a shamrock on the back of my neck and popped the zit that was on it and it scarred and looked funny, don't pop it.
Oh. That is a really big problem you have there... You should let it just get out of your skin slowly. Don't pop it , don't do anything to it. That's the best way.
I don't see why it would. Pimples don't form that deeply under the skin, probably not deeper than the tattoo.
I doubt it would leave a scar so you need to pop it so it can heal up.

it's not going to, my boyfriends had two pimples on his tattoo and they're fine =]
