Is there a difference between a zit or pimple?

I think zit is just kind of a nickname for pimple. But when I think of zit I think of large cystic pimple. Pimple seems more like the small bumps you get on your face.Is there a difference between a zit or pimple?
Yeah. A pimple has a bump on your skin, and a zit looks ugly-ier than a pimple. Likee.. there's a hole in the zit %26amp; if you scratch it or pop it, stuff comes out, WHICH is disgusting. But, a pimple doesn't have that.

There is no difference once so ever, what ever you call them it's still acne
