Small pimple like bumps on my legs?

I'm a white male, 26. A couple of months ago I began to get a lot of little pimple-like bumps on my knees, thighs and buttocks and occasionally as low as my ankles. (I have never gotten any on my genitals). The bumps itch sometimes but not too much and don't get sore. I have been tested for genital herpes since getting the bumps and came back negative. Any ideas on what it could be????Small pimple like bumps on my legs?
Stop shaving them for a while %26amp; you should be OK.

(other ideas? 'bed-bugs' are possible, examine your mattress)Small pimple like bumps on my legs?
Do you shave there? they're probably ingrown hairs, don't worry, people get them all the time. You can buy special creams and delipatory lotions and things to help with the ingrown hairs, and I have several tips to help: Dab salicylic acid on them, the same you use for pimples, because it can help keep the ingrown hair clean. When you're shaving, shave the way the hair grows first, and then turn around and shave it the other way - it can help prevent ingrown hairs. They're very common, and not very visible, so you don't have to worry about people staring at your legs or anything :) Just do some research on google, it can help you a lot, and don't worry.
Luke, listen to me very carefully. Do not take these bumps lightly. They could be the beginning signs of MRSA (antibiotic resistant staph infection).

I want you to take a lukewarm bath filled half up with 3/4 cups bleach (Clorox is fine). after one minute of bleach added, add 1/4 cup of vinegar swirl it around a lot and then take this bath for ten to twenty minutes twice weekly. This will kill the MRSA on your skin.

The reason you are getting them around your butt area is because MRSA colonizes in three locations. Your arm pits, nose, and genital area. So saok your entire body.

If they do not go away (two weeks), go to your doctor and ask to have your nasals swabbed and tested for MRSA.

If in a rare circumstance you are not treated properly, it can get into your blood stream and cause a very deadly pheumonia.

Try treating it at home for two weeks with the above bath treatment. If that fails, go on the internet or order through your pharmacist a gel called ';SilvaSorb Hydrogel';. Place it on top of the boils twice daily. NEVER POP THE BOILS. It can push the bacteria into the bloodstream!

If that fails, then ask to be referred to an Infectous Disease doctor.

Good Luck
Shaving can cause mild grown hairs. They are little red bumps that kind of look like pimples.

Also, maybe you're allergic to something. Have you started using a new product or something? Maybe you're allergic to a food you just ate for the first time in a while. Hope this helps!
I used to get those. If they are anything like what I got, they are from sweat. Maybe working out a little too much? Scrub with a lot of soap. If this doesnt make them go away within a week or so, then you should go see a dermatologist
It could be an allergic reaction. Have you been using a different type of detergent or body wash, of course it could also be from a dye used in clothing?
maybe just heat bumps. i used to get those alot when i played soccer during the summer
