No- it won't help with acne.
Take a very hot wash cloth and apply (heat in the micro for double warmth and repeat maybe it will come to a head. Then apply peroxide and acne cream.
Repeat before bed. In the morning apply an ice pack and it should be gone. Some of the swelling - once it ruptures but the scab may take a day or two ??
Also the more you squeeze the worse it will be.

no it doesnt...you will just have to suffer with a pimple for a week or so...dont pick or squeeze it..it will look way worse and might infect

I sure do. At first in previous relationships I didn't pat any attention to it. Now that I have found the love of my life and I have became more comfortable, I look forward to it! I actually look for pimples to pop everywhere on his body, face, back, butt, etc. It has become a hobby of mine. It may be gross to some people, but not me. You did not say when your graduation is assuming it's tomorrow I would say pull out the isopropyl alcohol and toothpaste. First go over your face especially the pimple several times with the alcohol. Then apply toothpaste to the pimple and sleep with it on. Hopefully you dont use gel toothpaste. It only works with the white kind.
You have to get your hands on some ProActive. It is unreal. I have been using it for about 10 years. The first time I used it on a pimple that I really needed to get rid of. I put some of the white cream on at night, and in the morning it was really much better. It was like the cream took all the moisture out of it and made it like 1/2 the size over night.
DO NOT POP IT!!! When you pop a pimple you're basically digging a hole for the bacteria to go in even deeper, NO MATTER HOW SMALL THE HOLE IS IT WILL MAKE IT WORSE!!!!!! Put some toothpaste on it overnight and when you wake up clean it with peroxide. The toothpaste is really cold feeling and opens your pores and the peroxide will help clean it out. There's no overnight cure but if you have two days worth of time it would help to do that toothpaste/peroxide combo nightly. If you do end up going the make up route, make sure it's a brand that's good for your skin or else the pimple will end up worse by the end of your graduation. GOOD LUCK!

First wash your face with a cleanser, then put the mask on, then the cream or toothpaste. then buy covergirl true fit concealer....It might not go away, if you stress it wont, but just try this.....dont touch your face so it doesnt spread, and if you pres it, wash the area with vodka, or som sort of cleaner right away, then yuse the concealer...Okay goodluck, a good concealer can mask it anyway after its popped :D....Dont worry try cover girl true match concealer...Its a little bottle tha has a brush to put on the stuff...shoppers has it and walmart its anywhere it works for me everytime :D

Okay get one of the thinnest sowing needle you can find in your home. Soak the needle in peroxide or alcohol for 30 seconds. Take the needle and prick right in the center of were your bump is. Prick it in enough so when it goes in you can tell its inside the skin(not todeep, but make sure the top is in a bit alteast). Take the needle out and then take two peices of toilet paper and wrap them around your fingers. Put your finger up to the edges of the pimple and lightely(not harshly or you'll damage the skin tomuch and make such you don't dig you nails into the skin eaither)... lightely press until stuff starts coming out and then stop until its all gone and blood or clearstuff is coming out. Clean off the little cut with alcohol or peroxide and hold down for 30 seconds to kill all germs and stop it from reforming. Go to the fridge and get ice to take down the swelling and then just go to bed and when you wake up it should be a small scab. Go to your local drugstore and buy an oil-free foundation that won't clog your pores and put that onthe scab and then it shouldn;t be visible at all. Goodluck!

I had one above my eyebrow too, and it's kinda still there. It took a while for the one between my eyebrows to go away. You can't really see it much anymore, but when I touch it, I can feel it.
Don't squeeze it or anything, it won't do anything cuz it's under the skin still.
What I did is very simple.
I bought facial soap from Neutrogena and I washed my face with it every morning and night, followed by a moisturizer from Olay. These two products helped so much.
When you wash your face, start off with washing your face with hot warm (this will open up your pores), lather the soap and massage it into your skin using a circular motion, then use cold water (closes your pores) to wash it off. PAT your skin dry. Then use the moisturizer.
The other thing that helped a lot too is the sun!! I went outside to sunbathe (make sure you're wearing sunscreen!!) and the pimple shrinked a little. I'm not sure why, but it did. It also looked less red.
Hmmmmmm try not to use foundation, just depend on your moisturizer for a while.

To get rid of it, wash your face twice a day (once in the morning and once at night). First, use a facial cleanser (try Cetaphil daily facial cleanser). Then use deep-cleansing pads (try Clearasil acne control pore-cleansing pads). That should help clear it up quickly, as long as you don't pick at it.

Wash face, clean again with witch hazel, and rub a drop on the affected area. I have used it my self on sore inflamed areas. If you need a remedy right this second, get a chamomile tea bag nice and hot and put it on the area. It is soothing . the only other remedy other than the typical skin care items is hemorrhoid cream AFTER 1) washing face, 2)witch hazel, 3)chamomile tea bag. this should sooth and bring down swelling.How do you take the pain away from a pimple in your nose etc.?

That's a killer! I hate them, they are the worst. I donnot believe there is any way, except to stay clear of it. Donnot pick it by mistake and pimples go away so much faster if you donnot agravate them.
Neosporin pain relief will take the pain away and also help to heal the spot. the reason that you may have pain could because of a slight infection that you caused by busting that pimple. You could also try some ice, and alternate it by applying warm water to your face.
If that does not work, you can try to take a large bowl of boiling water and put your face over the bowl and drape a towel over your head to get the steam to penetrate your pores. This will help the pain go away and heal your skin at the same time. If the pimple is not busted, it will allow the trapped bacteria to seep out.
Neosporin with pain reliever, it's an antibiotic... Works well to take the redness out also, if you can see it
to take the pimple away use toothpaste or visene.

That's a killer! I hate them, they are the worst. I donnot believe there is any way, except to stay clear of it. Donnot pick it by mistake and pimples go away so much faster if you donnot agravate them.
Neosporin pain relief will take the pain away and also help to heal the spot. the reason that you may have pain could because of a slight infection that you caused by busting that pimple. You could also try some ice, and alternate it by applying warm water to your face.
If that does not work, you can try to take a large bowl of boiling water and put your face over the bowl and drape a towel over your head to get the steam to penetrate your pores. This will help the pain go away and heal your skin at the same time. If the pimple is not busted, it will allow the trapped bacteria to seep out.

ive used it and it didnt work the best, there are other products that are better... i use something like noxema or however u spell it.. i also mix it up and use diff. products every week, like one week ill use that one then ill use nutrogena stress control... it keeps my skin clear and also hydratedDoes proactive the pimple cream work?

My pacu has a spot just above his mouth. I kinda looks like a human pimple. Does anyone know what this is???

It is most likely from hitting his face against the tank, but several diseases can start with this appearance. Watch it closely for the next few days and if the spot grows , gets redder or begins to get a fungus type appearance post another question or email me.

I had 2 red bellied pacu and they would get bumps like this from darting into the glass or bumping into anything in the tank, or from rough play between them. I always kept salt in the water and they heal very quickly. About 1/2 tablespoon for every 5 gallons.
It is a callous formed because pacus have the tendency to be skittish fish and will plow into the sides of your tank when scared. Sometimes they can do this very forcefully making a loud noise and if big enough in a small tank, could do damage to the tank. It is just like how people get callouses on their hands from working hard with them, a fish will get a callous from hitting things too hard with their head. It is quite common in many fish and can be prevented by putting plants (live or fake) at the ends of your tank to either soften the blow or make the fish realize that their is something in the way.

Popped a pimple, now the skin won't heal?
I know I shouldn't have, but I scratched off a pimple because it was bothering me. Its been a few weeks, and now that spot where that pimple was is a light pinkish bump. It looks and feels like a pimple, but its hard and it cant be popped.

it is a collection of dead skin cells, which is hard to come of, if you want you can put lemon juice on your bump, this will eliminate the dead skin cells, don't go too crazy because it can irritate your skin.

Doesn't that sound pretty. It's giagantic, it's near my nose so not easy to hide. I tried to pop it and now it's angrier and redder than before. It's a monster.

Sounds like a boil. You can get it to drain by hot packing it with hot washcloths. Then put antibiotic ointment on it. But you are going to have to let it heal. It won't be gone by tomorrow.

Sounds like a boil. You can get it to drain by hot packing it with hot washcloths. Then put antibiotic ointment on it. But you are going to have to let it heal. It won't be gone by tomorrow.

I think the best thing for you to do would be a chemical peel. I know a few people who have gotten them done and they had remarkable results. It isn't pleasant a first, but the end results are really worth it. Find a good place to go to. Do not try the at home products because you can cause a lot more damage than you already have.

i had a friend who always put toothpaste on her pimples. she swore that it worked...i never tried it, though.
i know that it's embarassing, but i say that you should perhaps try to reduce some of the pus (but please know that you will eventually have a scar at the tip of your nose as a result of you popping that pimple).
1. Wash your hands
2. Wash your face
3. Take a little pieces of toilet paper and covering your fingers with it gently pop the thing.
4. Wash your face again
5. Apply neosporin before bed to help minimize scarring
And last but not least, in the morning start with a white eyeliner pencil to cover the red-blend, and apply concealer.
Hot compresses and it will loosen up then drain it and it will be OK tomorrow..
Either put consealer on it or pop it and hope for the best.

Anyway..you probably just have a really bad pimple....we've all had them. If it gets worse or the pain bothers you...consider getting it checked.

There's really no way to answer your question with the information we have been given. Are you sure its a pimple? Its could be lots of things--a chancre comes to mind (in which case he has syphillis, it could also be gonorrhea), where is it located? It simply could be just an infected hair follicle. Need more information to figure this one out. but if you have any doubts, either have no sex or make him wear a rubber. A rubber is likely to prevent transmission if its an STD. He needs to figure out whether its a just a pimple or something worse and that may mean seeing a doctor.
Only if it is really ONLY a pimple! Sometimes herpes can look like pimples. If you DO have sex, use a condom, and also if it is a pimple, tell him to use a hot compress (wash-cloth or towel in hot water) on it to open the pores so it will go away sooner. I wouldn't suggest popping it given the location. He just needs to wash better.

However, yes it is possible to get normal pimples in this area, particularly around the base of the penis where fine hairs grow, but I'm not really sure that you can determine whether or not it is just a normal pimple just by looking at it.
