I went to wax my lip not so long ago and now it has little pimple-like bumbs..what should i do with them?

Why did they come out in the first place anyway?I went to wax my lip not so long ago and now it has little pimple-like bumbs..what should i do with them?
Most of the time you get small bumps after waxing a sensitive area like the lip as a result of a histamine reaction within the skin. When the hair is forcefully removed it triggers the histamines to respond and flood the area causing the bumps. (just like a rash from allergies) Try taking a Benedryl or even just 1/2 before your next waxing. In the mean time use a bit of Hydrocortisone cream to bring them down.I went to wax my lip not so long ago and now it has little pimple-like bumbs..what should i do with them?
They are probably ingrown hairs. If your hair is naturally curly sometimes the hairs will grow back into the skin, causing a small infection, or ingrown hair. They often heal on their own. I would use a gentle facial exfoliator to dislodge the hardened proteins that are blocking the hair follicle, until they can heal properly.
Go get tested for herpes. Did you ever notice that the woman who waxes your lip (and brows) never changes the wooden stick she dips into the wax? It's the same stick used over and over on numerous other women. Herpes is easily passed this way; you can usually tell by hard, white bumps that hurt if you try to squeeze them. Might not be herpes, but you should check.
You should us alchol on the problem area. And forget about it.
I got those too when I went for waxing. Don't wax anymore coz only more of 'em will pop up. Try threading instead. Go for a facial and ask them to remove those pimple-thingys. They would be able to help you.

Hope this helps %26amp; all the best!
It goes away, your skin is probably just sensitive. try cocoa butter or jojoba or baby oil!
it amy have been the toxins(achchol) in the wax or whatever they used. but they sell things in the store buy the pharmacy and things about cracked lips and more.
Aloe Vera
Sounds like you have sensitive skin, keep it clean but don't over clean it and mostly just leave it alone even if it feels weird.
Whatever you do DO NOT POP OR PINCH THEM OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. Messing with them will only cause infection and ingrown hairs. You should just let them be until they disappear. If they don't disappear, go to a dermatologist.
Sorry to hear that, that sucks!

It could be a few things.

-The wax could have taken off little bits of skin with the hair, and now it's trying to heal itself.

-You could be having a reaction to the wax or a product used during or after the waxing (like a cream you used immediately aftewards, or maybe makeup used a few hours after that got into your empty hair follicles)

-These bumps could be little tiny ingrown hairs trying to come back.

If it's ingrowns (which are common on other parts of the body after waxing), you need to *gently* but consistently exfoliate the area. Like, every night before bed. Then moisturize with a non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) moisturizer.

If you suspect a reaction, use the suspected product on another inconspicuous area of your body and monitor for similar reaction. If you get it, don't use it again.

Either way, using some kind of soothing cream on the area might help take away some inflammation. Might want to see a dermatologist, she can help you find the best methods and products for your skin type.

Good luck!
Theres really nothing you can do. What i do is put olive oil on them. That helps a litthle bit.
