Depends.
Don't squeeze it or it takes a lot longer.
Try using acne wash, alcohol and acne cream
If you want to avoid future break outs use a solid face wash, toner (witch hazel) and keep acne cream handy -
Don't use toothpaste or products not made or tested for your face.
I am sure it should heal in 3-5 days.Normally, how long does it take for a pimple/zit to go away?
If you wash your face or don't pick at it it should go away within a week. If you have acne or the beginning of acne it will not go away and more pimples will follow making your life much harder.

Popped a pimple, now the skin won't heal?
I know I shouldn't have, but I scratched off a pimple because it was bothering me. Its been a few weeks, and now that spot where that pimple was is a light pinkish bump. It looks and feels like a pimple, but its hard and it cant be popped.
I'm going to the dermatologist, but not for another month. Anybody what this is and how I can get rid of it?Popped a pimple, now the skin won't heal?
Use toothpaste every day and leave it on over night, if anything this will get rid of the redness and help it heal quicker. This aLso put some ice on it as soon as you can before the toothpaste this wil freeze the blood vessels around your pimple and will stop it from getting bigger. never pop pimples unless they are whiteheads! try applying tea tree oil on it. if it is a bacterial infection or pimple it should help. you could also try a sulfur face mask or a benzoyl peroxide gel on it. tea tree would be best as it isn't as drying as the others and if it is a scar it wont harm it.
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
it is a collection of dead skin cells, which is hard to come of, if you want you can put lemon juice on your bump, this will eliminate the dead skin cells, don't go too crazy because it can irritate your skin.
Personally I think you should just wait until your appointment

that happened to me once. i took a dull scalpel to it. once i let out some blood, the size reduced amazingly. however, i wouldnt reccomend it since it also left a nasty scar.
so id probably just leave it be. if time wont fix it, your dermatologist will!

Doesn't that sound pretty. It's giagantic, it's near my nose so not easy to hide. I tried to pop it and now it's angrier and redder than before. It's a monster.
I've tried to put make up on it but it's oozing some disgusting liquid.
Tomorrow is Monday. Other than call in sick, do you have any suggestions on how to get this thing to chill out?! It hates me, I hate it, it's all bad.

Honey Paste-Another easy and effective homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All you need is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflammed area completely. Just lie down as honey may dribble down. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with luke warm water.
Orange peel-Homemade Acne Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece of stone and apply to acne affected areas.
Basil tea-Basil tea like neem is effective in killing bacteria. Drinking it twice a day can do wonders to the skin.

i stick to my routine and it clears up.
clearasil face wash in the morning and at night. and astringent at night.
I use Equate acne cream. Its cheaper than like Proactive and Creaisal and those other ones but it clears pimples within 2 days.
There are a few really simple ways that dont cost much at all to clear up pimples...
1. Get a fresh tomato and cut it down the center, rub the two halves all over you face and let dry for around 20 mins, then rinse off. The juice of the tomato has a natural acylic type acid that will kill bacteria and the other stuff that can cause a break out. It works!
2. Drink lots of water, this will naturally clean out your skin and will also make your skin less dry and help produce the right amount of natural oils that will not cause a break out. When the skin is too dry it will over produce oils that will eventually clog pores.
3. A Less expensive way but one that works called Bioelements Nightime Acne Clearing System, I use this stuff religiously and normally my face stays clear of any breakouts and when i do get one i just put this on it and overnight it almost completely disappears.
Hope these all help. Just washing you face and using a good a moisturizer will shock you with how well it will keep your skin clear. Weather you a guy/girl it doesnt matter TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN!
